Daily – Quiet – Auxiliary

The purpose of this project is to turn into architecture words like daily and quiet, both inherent characterers in the nature of a garden. The theme of the competition introduces a complex problems:

1 – designing a building that could be part of the historical context of the Villa Seràgnoli,

2 – designing a house within a garden of which the resident is not the owner. The challenge was to insert, with the right sensitivity, a building that for its typology and cultural-historical language, could be part of this context. The farm in the center of the Italy is composed of a few elements: a main building, and some auxiliary buildings characterized by more ephemeral materiality. The typological choice is based on the category of auxiliary buildings: an object that completes the set of the parts of the garden and is a new inclusion, both consistent and quiet.
